What's really in Australian water?
Chlorine is the main contaminant found in Australian water to keep it safe. Major water supplies typically contain around 0.2–0.5 mg/L of free chlorine by the time it reaches your home. Although chlorinated water is safe to drink, studies and skin-health experts note that it can strip natural oils from your skin and hair, contributing to dryness, tightness and irritation, especially for people with sensitive or eczema-prone skin.
By targeting chlorine and some of its by-products, our filter helps reduce what you absorb through your skin and lungs while showering – a simple extra layer of protection and comfort on top of already-treated mains water.
How often do I need to replace the filter cartridge?
For optimal performance, replace the cartridge every 5-8 months, depending on water quality and usage. Each cartridge is designed for easy, tool-free replacement, making it simple to maintain clean water year-round.
